FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS

1. What brands do you accept?

We are only accepting pieces from brands sold at Danali, both past and present, or brands of comparable quality. Click here for a list of brands that Danali currently sells. If you have a piece from a brand you are unsure of, just send us an email!

2. Do my items need to have been bought at Danali?

While After Danali is primarily a marketplace for pieces bought from Danali, we will also accept items that you originally purchased elsewhere. We're not mad at you for cheating on us while on vacation ;)

3. Where do I drop off my items?

Consignment appointments will be held at Danali (100-530 Kenaston Blvd), or at home by special request.

4. What condition do my clothes need to be in?

Your items must be clean and in sellable condition upon arrival. Due to the nature of pre-loved clothing, signs of wear is acceptable. Further cleaning and repair charges may apply if items do not meet this criteria. 

5. How do I get paid?

Payments are issued monthly using the method agreed upon during consultation. As a consignor, you will receive 40% of the final selling price via e-transfer or 50% in store credit to Danali.

6. What can I consign?

Men's and women's clothing, footwear and accessories that are clean and in sellable condition. Just like Danali, our curation reflects our values and style. We may need to decline items that don’t align with what we’re seeking.

7. What happens to my items if they do not sell?

Sales terms last 90 days. After the contract ends, you can either retrieve your items or leave them for an extended period with approval. Items kept beyond the initial term may be discounted. You will be contacted to pick up unsold items within 10 days. Uncollected items after 10 days will be donated to a local charity.

8. How long will it take for my items to be listed online?

Depending on our inventory levels, items can take up to 2 weeks to be processed and listed online. We are operating as a two-person team and will do our best to get your items for sale as quickly as possible! You will be notified every step of the way.

9. How are my items priced?

Pricing is determined by us and based on original retail price, condition, quality, style, etc.

10. Where can I shop?

AD — After Danali is currently open for online shopping only, but follow along on our Instagram and TikTok for updates and pop-up opportunities!

11. What is your return policy?

Full-priced clothing is eligible for a full refund seven days after receipt. Items must be in their original purchased condition with tags still attached. Footwear and accessories are final sale. 

12. What does the 'Condition' mean?

Since all our items are sold on a consignment basis, they may show signs of wear and tear due to their pre-loved nature. We recommend consulting our condition guide before making a purchase.

New With Tags: this item is brand new, with original tags still attached, and has never been worn.

New Without Tags: this item is brand new and has never been worn. Tags are removed.

Very Good: this item has been worn, but displays little to no signs of wear.

Good: this item has been worn, and has visible but minor flaws, repairs, wear patterns, etc.
